Held annually on the weekend following Labor Day, this culinary festival highlights a variety of mushroom dishes cooked in the authentic manner. In addition to dining, guests can learn the skill of growing high quality mushrooms, visit the antique car show, participate in the run/walk parade or sip and relax at the wine and beer gardens.
The Kennett Brewfest is a fundraising event taking place in October with all proceeds going to Historic Kennett Square. Brewfest is intended to be an opportunity to sample some of the best regional and national craft beers accompanied by great food, great music, and great people.

Also, in February, is this awesome event. Hundreds of chocolate treats, including cakes, brownies, candies, cookies and cupcakes. A fun day sampling as many chocolate delights as you wish - chocoholics of all ages welcome! Apparently, you cannot bring a container to take goodies home so you will just have to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy all the treats.
Don't really need a reason to have a good beer but a festival in February helps. Bundle up and enjoy winter brews from at least 50 unique craft breweries with live music. Need to purchase tickets that includes unlimited tastings of delicious craft beer. New this year a Food Truck selection instead of a food ticket.
The Mushroom Festival and Kennett Area Restaurant and Merchant Association are your hosts for Midnight in the Square. You are invited to kick off NYE celebration by enjoying entertainment, food & activities down the road from Kennett House. You can witness the "Raising and Lighting" our Mushroom and of course you need to stay up to watch the Mushroom drop at midnight!
